A spacious house in Jûrmala, situated mere 700 metres away from a sandy beach. The house is more than 100 years old (an architectural monument) but it has been renovated fairly recently and it is in a very good condition. It is located only a few kilometres away from the Jûrmala city centre and within 5 minutes walk from a railway station, so it does not create any problems to get quickly to the city centre, Lîvu Aquapark or the centre of Riga City.
There are four bedrooms in the house and it is spacious enough to provide a plenty of room for up to 11 people. On the ground floor there are two sizeable living rooms with a fireplace - one of the rooms is joined with a kitchen; a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Two more bedrooms are located on the first floor of the house (in the attic). (NB! Please note that due to technical reasons only three bedrooms are listed on our website!)
Kitchen has a plenty of space and it is fully equipped for you to be able to prepare a proper meal for all of you. Next to the kitchen there is a living room with a fireplace, a TV set and a dining table. Unfortunately, the dining table can be set for a maximum of 5 people. There is another living room with a fireplace, a TV set and a coffee table, as well as a double sofa. On the ground floor of the house there are two bedrooms; one of those has two single beds and the other one – one double bed. Two more bedrooms are located on the first floor of the house, the first one of which has a double bed (which may not be comfortable enough for corpulent people). This room is certain to attract Internet lovers since it has a PC with an Internet connection. The second bedroom has a double sofa.
Next to the house (on the adjoining plot of land) there is a house where the property owners live – but the adjoining plot of land is fully separated off by a fence. On this property owners’ plot of land there is a sauna (the traditional Russian sauna with sauna besoms) which may be rented from the owners concluding a separate agreement. There is a spacious garden surrounding the house (a meadow, to be more precise) of 1500 sq.m; there the children can play ball games or badminton or any other game for that matter. On the other side of the house there is a forest where one can spend some time taking peaceful and comfortable walks.
Three shops and two cafes are situated only a few minutes’ walk away from the house. Relatively nearby (within a few kilometres, well, maybe a little bit more) there are a few convalescent homes of Jûrmala, where one can take a swim in a pool and enjoy other water procedures when the weather outside gets too cool to swim in the sea.
